How to make it Better in 2022
As an optimist there is nothing I would like to say more than “It will all get better.” Age and commonsense has curved my enthusiasm for blind faith. What I do know from reading greeting cards in my spare time is that: if you want to change the world, you start with yourself. I will start with myself and invite / challenge you to join me.

Dare to speak what you want. Identify what your idea of a successful artist is. Do you want to be an art star like Picasso, or do you want to be the next featured artist at Starbucks or Target? Dare to speak the truth about your desires to yourself.
Take deliberate steps toward your goals. Just one step a day or even a week will get you closer to who you want to become and what you want to achieve as an artist.
Educate yourself about what you want to accomplish. Actions backed up by knowledge and even a little faith will get you light years farther along in your journey than doing the same thing you did last year and the year before.
